At House of Jan, every item is individually sourced and one of a kind. We carefully measure and inspect each garment before listing it. Please read this policy in full before purchasing.
This policy is effective as of 3 July 2026
We encourage all customers to use our Size Finder and compare the listed measurements with a similar item they already own before placing an order.
No Returns for Change of Mind
Because of the nature of thrifted clothing, we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or if the item does not fit as expected when the measurements provided on the product page are accurate.
When a Return Will Be Considered
A return or refund will only be considered if:
- The measurements of the item differ materially from those listed on the product page; or
- The item received differs materially from its description or photos; or
- The incorrect item was sent.
How to Request a Return
If you believe your order qualifies, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel. Include your order number and clear photos showing the issue.
Return Shipping
Where a return is approved due to an error on our part, House of Jan will cover the reasonable return shipping costs. If a return is requested for any other approved reason, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Processing Returns
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, an appropriate refund or replacement will be processed.
Your Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
